Fit Notes for Non-Padded, Stretchy Bras

  1. General Recommendation:
Non-padded bras often feel roomier in the cups due to the lack of padding. Additionally, the stretchy fabric can make the fit less structured, leading to gaps or looseness. Sizing down in the cup is typically recommended for a more tailored fit.

  2. Cup Size Adjustment:

    • For example, if you normally wear 70B (32B) but experience gaping, try 70A (32A) for a closer fit.
    • If you are between cup sizes, always choose the smaller size to ensure the cups mold closely to your body.
  1. Band Fit:
The band provides most of the bra’s support. If it feels loose or shifts during wear, consider sizing down in the band for better stability. For instance, if you usually wear 75A (34A), try 70A (32A).

  2. Impact of Stretchy Fabric:
Elastic materials offer flexibility and comfort but may lose shape over time or feel less secure. Choosing a snugger size ensures the bra maintains its fit and provides better support.

  3. When to Consider Sizing Down:

    • If the bra feels too loose overall, try both a smaller band and a smaller cup size.
    • Non-padded bras are ideal for natural shaping, but a close fit is crucial for support and appearance.
